The Chronicon
Hippolytus

I have been slowly translating Hippolytus' "Chronicon" into English.  It is one of the earliest Christian works which has never been put into English. It conains a list of dates, people, and locations from the creation of the world up until Hippolytus' present day.  I am using the GCS (Die Griechischen Christlichen Schriftsteller) series number 46 (which supersedes the previous volume 36).  Most of the contents is fairly mundane, however there is an interesting section on the Table of Nations in Genesis 11. I am posting updates on my blog.
